How To Make Money Using Discord

Making money through Discord.

Hey there, so I have a Discord server that has 500+ members in it, so I have decided that with this number of active members how can I make some money, that doesn't affect them, instead, in a way that my members can benefit too. Any suggestions? (I have a job BTW).

I don't recommend trying to make money for anything. It's a very slippery slope to go down and most people won't want to pay for anything and a lot of people will be off-put thinking it could be a scam, etc. Using a discord server to make money isn't the best idea and could be against the Terms of Service.

I mean could I add something that is just like ads on Youtube, it gives you money but the member don't have to pay anything. I know it's not recommended, but with this amount of people, I said why wouldn't I make some money with the effort I'm putting on the server.

You could allow them to change their name color (with roles) if they donated money, it is just a cosmetic change so it won't affect the other members.

i mean, some discord got a patreon role for those who support the streamer/youtuber who own the discord, but i feel like it's being a jerk to had montized feature for a free service who can basicly run by itself with bot, i would just left it

the only justification to make people ok to pay would be if you actulay create content for discord, not just keeping a random server
